Working as an assistant 2nd grade teacher one summer, I had the chance to hang out with a lot of very photogenic people. This little girl was patiently waiting in our recess line, worn out from the playground. Pattern on top of pattern make this shot especially eye-catching. Capturing this in black and white inadvertantly creates a quiet drama that never really existed.
