 | Student will understand how contour line creates three-dimensional sculpture. A real inexpensive crowd pleaser, wire sculpture is an honest to goodness "no-fail" project for the middle school student. Working with wire versus a pencil allows the self-conscience student to relax and focus on the physical actions involved in bending and cutting wire. Lasting only a few class periods, this project also accommodates students various working speeds. Whether the student creates two sculptures or two dozen, one project is selected to be mounted on a wood base sanded and drilled by the student.
